Composition:
Contains per ml solution:
10 mg Ivermectin.
Description:
Dufamec 1% is an injectable solution containing ivermectin, an antiparasitic agent with activity against many endo- and ectoparasites.
Indications:
Endo- and ectoparasitic infections in cattle, sheep, pigs, dogs and cats, caused by parasites susceptible to ivermectin.
Cattle: Gastrointestinal nematodes, lungworms, eye worms, warbles, mites and lice.
Sheep: Psoroptic mange (sheep scab), gastrointestinal nematodes, lungworms and nasal bots.
Pigs: Gastrointestinal nematodes, lungworms, lice and mange mites.
Dogs (not for use in Collies or Collie cross breeds): Gastrointestinal nematodes, infective-stage heartworms, microfilariae, arthropods and ear mites.
Cats: Gastrointestinal nematodes and lungworms.
Dosage and administration:
For subcutaneous administration.
General dosage: 0.2 mg ivermectin per kg bodyweight, pig 0.3 mg ivermectin per kg bodyweight.
Cattle : 1 ml Dufamec 1% per 50 kg bodyweight
Sheep : 0,5 ml Dufamec 1% per 25 kg bodyweight
Pigs : 1 ml Dufamec 1% per 33 kg bodyweight
Dogs and cats : 0,1 ml Dufamec 1% per 5 kg bodyweight
Precautions and warnings:
Dose accurately to prevent development of resistance caused by underdosing.
Avoid using alongside other medications. Do not use in Collies or Collie cross breeds !
Withdrawal times:
Meat: 21 days (cattle and sheep)
28 days (pigs).
Do not use in cows producing milk for human consumption.
Do not use in non-lactating dairy cows within 28 days prior to calving.
Storage conditions:
Store dark and below 25��C. Do not freeze.
Packing:
